Situated in the heart of Stanley overlooking the natural harbour, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the capital’s shops, pubs, historic sites and monuments.
The hotel was first built in 1881 by John James Felton who named it after his youngest daughter, Malvina, which is an old Scottish name. The original hotel was completely rebuilt in 1968 and has been regularly renovated over the years, offering comfortable rooms, a spacious lounge bar and a recently refurbished restaurant. The award-winning chef uses locally-sourced ingredients and produces an expansive menu that incorporates international experience with flair.
All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and a comfortably furnished with big pillows and duvets, fluffy towels and flat sceen TVs with a range of channels. Wi-Fi is available throughout and the spa is a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring.
